ingredients
- cups flour (all-purpose)
- teaspoons salt
- cup vegetable oil
- tablespoons cold water
- pounds potato
- cup peas
- tablespoons vegetable oil
- teaspoon cumin
- teaspoon turmeric
- teaspoon garam masala
- teaspoon red chili flakes
- teaspoon pepper
- jalapeƱo
- tablespoon ginger, grated
instructions
- mix flour, salt and oil, add chilled water and knead dough
- refrigerate the dough for 30 minutes
- cook and mash potatoes and mix with peas
- cook the spices in oil and add to the potato mixture
- divide the dough into 10 pieces, roll each one into a circle
- cut each circle in half and form a cone shape with the dough
- fill with potatoes and peas and seal
- fry in oil
- serve with tamarind chutney
