clam chowder
ingredients
- slices bacon
- onion
- medium potatoes, diced
- cloves garlic, minced
- cans (14 oz) clams
- cups chicken broth
- teaspoons worcestershire sauce
- teaspoon red chili flakes
- teaspoon salt
- teaspoon pepper
- cups milk
- cup whipping cream
instructions
- crisp the bacon and onions, don’t drain the grease
- add potatoes, garlic, clams (including brine in can)
- boil until the potatoes are soft
- add spices, simmer for 15 minutes
- add milk and whipping cream
makes 6-8 servings
