buttermilk biscuits
ingredients
- cups flour
- tablespoons baking powder
- teaspoon salt
- cup butter
- cups buttermilk
- teaspoons honey
instructions
- mix dry ingredients
- cut in butter with a pastry cutter
- stir in liquids by hand
- turn dough out on floured surface
- roll out to 1 inch thick rectangle
- fold one side into the center, then the other side turn the dough
- flatten into a 1 inch thick rectangle again repeat the folding again
- repeat the folding one last time flatten into the final 1 inch thick rectangle
- cut 10 biscuits
- bake at 425°f (218°c) 15-20 minutes
makes 10 biscuits
